Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to information when you visit ihophours.com. Short version: we do not ask you for anything, and we do not have accounts, logins or newsletters.

What we collect

Nothing you type. There is no signup form, no comment section and no mailing list, so there is no place for you to hand over personal details in the first place.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These record things like your IP address, browser type, which page was requested and when. They are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are not linked to any identity.

If you email us

Messages sent to intopens@gmail.com sit in that mailbox so we can reply. We do not add senders to any list, and we do not pass addresses to anyone else.

Cookies

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. WordPress may set a functional cookie in limited cases, and our caching layer may use one to serve pages faster. Neither follows you around the internet.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.

Analytics and advertising

If we add analytics or advertising later, this page will be updated before it goes live, and it will say plainly what is being used. We are not going to quietly slip it in.

Links to other sites

We link out to the official IHOP website and occasionally to other sources. Once you click through you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours. Worth a look if you are careful about these things.

Children

This site is aimed at a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the updated version appears here. Questions about any of it can go to intopens@gmail.com.
